Corporate pen-pushing and three tornado children (husband included) rule my life. I live in a small Midwest town right next to the tiny farming town I grew up in, operating on the stereotypical eat, work, try-not-to-let-my-kids-turn-my-hair-gray-at-30, sleep, repeat lifestyle.

After a tragic, community-rocking event following Christmas of 2022, I sought escape by diving into a series called Throne of Glass. It was the air I breathed for two weeks straight, and it completely destroyed me. Nearly every book I picked up for an entire month after was DNF because nothing could stitch the TOG-sized hole in my chest.

I was so lost, I picked up my own pen.

Well, laptop.

Once upon a time, I hand-filled innumerable journals with the random fantasies in my head. I even joined a community named WeBook where I had an Australian PenPal I tandem wrote a story with (on dial-up internet). I don't think we ever finished, and I couldn't tell you what it was about, but at some point I put it all away. High school was the last time I remember reading or writing for fun.

Then, a decade and a bullet later, a woman named Sarah J Maas stole my soul.

She wrecked me so thoroughly, I had no choice but to create again. February of 2023 had me opening Microsoft Word. May had me sticking with a story that gave me real passion. September had me finishing the epilogue. Winter had me realizing Midwesterners use a LOT of slang. Spring had me sending manuscripts to my first beta readers. And finally, at long last, Fall of 2024 will have me publishing my DEBUT NOVEL.

I am fresh blood on the writing scene. Virtually no followers, no connections, and no social media presence (on several platforms). But I am here to stay. I promise twisting tropes and sharp tongues in the Romantasy genre for YEARS to come.

May the fae smut be with you, always.
